What is Dungeons and Dragons?

Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game where players create heroic characters and embark on quests in fantastical worlds. The game revolves around storytelling, imagination, and teamwork.

Since 1974, the game has gone through multiple editions, with the latest (fifth edition) becoming wildly popular since 2014. D&D is the origin and inspiration behind many of the features of modern gaming and video-gaming, and has just celebrated 50 years with the release of new core rulebooks.
